Characterized by its cylindrical shape and playful, concealing fringes, Gianfranco Frattini’s 60s-era floor lamp from the Model 597 series also boasts multiple bulbs that emit a 360-degree ambient glow. Inspired by both the world of fashion and the fringed entrance curtains commonly found in Italy’s bars and grocery stores in the late 1950s, the design made for an impressive debut from the imaginative designer.
